Pike Place Roast to be the “big” announcement? Logo change?

Starbucks website is hinting at a big announcement next week and now I’m seeing a few billboards around town featuring the new Pike Place Roast! Could it be?

I also noticed this picture on flickr. The caption says that after 4/8 all the logos are going to go back to the original logo. This would be pretty amazing. Will it happen? I don’t know but I can’t wait! If you look closely you can see that the logo is not quite the original logo. One (or two) important features have been removed. Look closely. You’ll see.
